We're challenging the status quo of over-engineered labware. For many everyday lab accessories, using materials like PETG/PET, even its recycled form is more than sufficient. They're versatile, durable, and have a lower environmental impact compared to many other polymers. First products in our shop are only made from PETG/PET, let us know if you need anything special. Happy to pimp it up for you!
Of course, some applications demand more. When a project requires higher resistance to chemicals or heat, we'll use stronger polymers like, ASA, Nylon based or even metal alloy — but only when necessary. By choosing the most suitable material for each specific need, we reduce unnecessary waste and ensure our products are both effective and responsible.
2. Simplified Logistics
Traditional manufacturing often involves complex, global supply chains that contribute significantly to a product's carbon footprint. PimpMyLAB takes a different path. Our business model is designed to be as local as possible, minimizing the distance between production and your workbench.
Through professional printing partners and our future manufacturing network, we can produce your custom labware closer to you. This reduces transportation costs and emissions, delivering your items faster and more sustainably.
3. On-Demand, Small-Scale Production
One of the most powerful aspects of 3D printing is that it eliminates waste from overproduction. We only create what you need, when you need it. Unlike mass manufacturing, which often produces large batches that may never be sold, our on-demand model means every item we print has a purpose. This small-scale, precise production helps us reduce material waste and energy consumption.
